The Matzo files first introduction to the public started in August 2004 as a participant of AAI @ HOWL! Festival, produced by the Federation of East Village Artists (FEVA).
Our official Grand Opening was on Sunday, November 7, 2004 from 4 to 7 P.M. At openings, Matzo files volunteers "serve" the work in the files to visitors along the extensive countertops in the Streit's store. This allows many people to see to works of several artists at once.
