Artist
Statement:
My sculptures are an arrangement of every day commonly used found
objects. These materials are assembled in abstract and unexpected
compositions . The objects and materials I am drawn to consist of
cardboard, felt, tinfoil, stockings pink styrafoam, plastic tubing
and resin. With the combination of these materials and their unique
arrangements the viewer is confronted with a certain rawness or distorted
quality, maybe even dreamlike. Knowing full well these materials already
carry much of their own history and meaning I try to create my own
personal hybrid, hopefully with a meaning far greater than the sum
of its parts.
