Neighborhood Arts ASET (Adult Studio Education & Training)

Artists Alliance Inc. (AAI) is pleased to announce the launch of its new Adult Art Education Program: Neighborhood Arts ASET.

The ASET program is designed to serve individuals at all artistic levels and will provide quality visual arts education primarily for adults age 18 and older (except where noted). Workshops are led by professional working artists chosen for their dedication to education in the visual arts and their own particular strengths as artists.

Each workshop is designed to impart a high degree of technical training and extensive exploration of artistic materials for each individual. All workshops take place in a studio setting. Each student will encounter a challenging and creative environment while learning the tools necessary to convert artistic vision to reality.

We are pleased to offer workshops that focus on an academic approach to figurative drawing, painting and sculpture. In these workshops students work from live models, clothed or nude. We also offer other workshops which focus on such things as the language of abstraction and visual storytelling through shadow, light and shape.

WHERE: 107 Suffolk Street, between Delancey/Rivington. Two blocks south of Houston and two blocks east of Essex Street. Take the F train to Delancey Street or the J and M to Essex Street.
